AD/AC-100/17 Main Wheel Fairing Installation Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC-100/17.

S.L. Industries Commander 100 Series and Volair 10 Series Aeroplanes

AD/AC-100/17 Main Wheel Fairing Installation - Modification 9/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in1973 against Aero Commander Service Bulletin (SB) No. S-1013, required a modification to main wheel fairings to provide improved support for the inboard side of the fairing.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 30 April 1973.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
