AD/AA-5/25 Elevator Drain Holes - Inspection
and Modification
6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, issued in 1980, required inspection and, if necessary, modification of the elevator drain holes in accordance with Grumman American SB No. 169 to ensure water was not collecting in the trailing edge of the elevators.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 30 June 1980.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the AD is no longer required.
