| This Amendment becomes effective on 15 March 2007. | |
Background: | The DGAC requires compliance with new certification requirements introduced by Revision 05 of subsection 9-1 of the referenced MPD temporary revision. Amendment 1 was prompted by the issue of Revision 06 of MPD section 9-1 which introduces some new life-limited items and decreases the values of some limits already listed. Amendment 2 is issued in response to a new EASA AD, which was prompted by the issue of Revision 00 of Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 ALS Part 1 which introduces some new items and reduces limitations for some parts previously issued in the MPD section 9-1. The list of Safe Life Airworthiness Limitation Items (ALI) was formerly given in Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) subsection 9-1 (Life Limits/Monitored Parts) up to Revision 06. The content of the MPD Section 9 has been transferred into the Airworthiness Limitations Section (ALS) and the Safe Life ALI are now listed in the ALS Part 1, which is approved by EASA. |
