Amendment of Acts

An Act for the Revision of certain Acts of the Australian Capital Territory

Short title

1.  This Act may be cited as the Acts Revision Act 1959.1

Commencement

2.  This Act shall come into operation on the thirty-first day of December, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-nine.

Amendment of Acts

3.2  The Acts specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Act are amended as respectively specified in the second column of that Schedule.

NOTES

1.  The Acts Revision Act 1959 as shown in this reprint comprises Act No. 21, 1959 amended as indicated in the Tables below.

Citation of Laws—The Self-Government (Citation of Laws) Act 1989  (No. 21, 1989) altered the citation of most Ordinances so that after Self-Government day they are to be cited as Acts.  That Act also affects references in ACT laws to Commonwealth Acts.
