Act N o . 170 , 1980 .

An Act to extend the operation of certain provisions of the Acts

Reprinting Act, 1972, to certain additional statutory

instruments. [Assented to, 17th December. 1980.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : —

1. This Act may be cited as the "Acts Reprinting (Amend­ ment) Act, 1980".

The Acts Reprinting Act, 1972, is amended in the manner set forth in Schedule 1.

3. A reference in any Act, instrument made under an Act or other instrument to the Acts Reprinting Act, 1972, shall be construed as a reference to the Reprints Act, 1972.

SCHEDULE 1.

A M E N D M E N T S TO THE A C T S REPRINTING A C T , 1972.

(1) Long t i t l e -

Omit the long title, insert instead :—

An Act to make provision for the reprinting of certain Acts and statutory instruments by the Government Printer, and for other purposes.

(2) Section 1 —

Omit "Acts Reprinting", insert instead "Reprints".

(3) Section 7 ( 1 ) (a) —

Omit "amending provisions", insert instead "Acts or other provisions".

(4 ) Section 11 ( 2 ) —

Omit "section 8 or 9" , insert instead "or under this Act".

(5) Section 13 ( b ) —

Omit the paragraph, insert instead : —

(b) a regulation, rule or by-law made under an Act,

being a regulation, rule or by-law—

(i) that is made by the Governor; or

(ii)   that is made by any other person or body and is required by the Act under which it is made to be approved or confirmed by the Governor; or
