Acts Interpretation (Fee Unit) Amendment Regulation 2023 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Acts Interpretation (Fee Unit) Amendment Regulation 2023.

2   Commencement

Sections 5 and 6 commence on 1 July 2023.

3   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Acts Interpretation (Fee Unit) Regulation 2022.

4   Replacement of s 2 (Value of fee unit generally—Act, s 48B)

Section 2—
omit, insert—

2   Value of fee unit generally—Act, s 48B

The value of a fee unit for an Act, other than an Act or part of an Act mentioned in schedule 1, is—

(a)from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023—$1.025; and

(b)from 1 July 2023—$1.060.

5   Replacement of s 3 (Value of fee unit for particular Acts—Act, s 48B)

Section 3—
omit, insert—

3   Value of fee unit for particular Acts—Act, s 48B

(1)The value of a fee unit for an Act or a part of an Act mentioned in schedule 1, part 1 is—

(a)from 1 July to 31 August 2023—$1.025; and

(b)from 1 September 2023—$1.060.

(2)The value of a fee unit for an Act or a part of an Act mentioned in schedule 1, part 2 is—

(a)from 1 July to 30 September 2023—$1.025; and

(b)from 1 October 2023—$1.060.

(3)The value of a fee unit for an Act or a part of an Act mentioned in schedule 1, part 3 is—

(a)from 1 July to 31 December 2023—$1.025; and

(b)from 1 January 2024—$1.060.

(4)The value of a fee unit for an Act or a part of an Act mentioned in schedule 1, part 4 is—

(a)from 1 July 2023 to 30 April 2024—$1.025; and

(b)from 1 May 2024—$1.060.

6   Amendment of sch 1 (Particular Acts)

Schedule 1, part 1, ‘Geothermal Energy Regulation 2012, schedule 2’—
omit, insert—

Geothermal Energy Regulation 2022, schedule 4
