ACTS AMENDMENT
(TRANSPORT).

AN ACT to amend the State Transport Co-ordination Act 1966 and the Taxi-cars (Co-ordination and Control) Act 1963-1978.
[Assented to 19 November 1980.]
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-
| This Act may be cited as the Acts Amendment (Transport) Act 1980. | Short title. |
| PART I-STATE TRANSPORT CO-ORDINATION ACT 1966. |

2. (1) In this Part the State Transport citation.
Co-ordination Act 1966 is referred to as the principal
Act.

| (2) | The principal Act as amended by this Act may |
be cited as the State Transport Co-ordination Act
1966-1980.
| (3) | This Part of this Act shall come into operation |
on the day on which the Transport Amendment
Act 1980 comes into operation.
Section 21
| amended. | 3. Section 21 of the principal Act is amended in |
subsection (1) by deleting
| (a) | paragraphs (e), (f), (g), and (h) ; and |
| (b) | subparagraphs (ii) and (iv) of paragraph (7). |
Section 26
| repealed. | 4. Section 26 of the principal Act is repealed. |
PART II-TAXI-CARS (CO-ORDINATION AND CONTROL)
ACT 1963-1978.
| Citation. | 5. | (1) In this Part the Taxi-cars (Co-ordination |
and Control) Act 1963-1978 is referred to as the
principal Act.
(2) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Taxi-cars (Co-ordination and Control) Act 1963-1980.
Section 9A
| amended. | 6. | Section 9A of the principal Act is amended by |
repealing subsection (2) and substituting the
following subsection-
" (2) The officer designated under subsection (1) of this section shall, in so far as he is acting as the secretary, have such powers, duties and functions as are conferred on him by this Act or directed to be performed by him by the Board, but this subsection does not affect the powers, duties and functions of that officer as an officer of the Commissioner when he is not acting as the secretary. " .
