(PREVENTION OF

EXCESSIVE PRICES).

No. 2 of 1983.

AN ACT to amend the Consumer Affairs Act 1971-1982 and the Salaries and Wages Freeze Act 1982.

[Assented to 25 March 1983.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

PART I-PRELIMINARY.

1. This Act may be cited as the Acts Amendment Short title.

Section 24 of the principal Act is amended by

inserting after subsection (2) the following sub-

(3) Nothing in subsection (2) prohibits a person who also exercises powers or performs duties or functions under the Prevention of Excessive Prices Act 1983 from making a record of, or divulging or communicating to any person, any information referred to in that subsection in the course of the exercise of his powers or the performance of his duties or functions under that Act. ".
