ACTS AMENDMENT

(JUDICIAL SALARIES

AND PENSIONS).

No. 125 of 1976.

AN ACT to amend the Judges' Salaries and Pensions Act, 1950-1975 and the Solicitor-General Act, 1969.

[Assented to 2nd December, 1976.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Acts Amendment Short title.

(Judicial Salaries and Pensions) Act, 1976.

2.    This Act shall come into operation on the first gaerence

-day of January, 1977.

Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by adding after the words "may be" appearing at the end of the interpretation "salary" the passage ", including any allowance of an annual nature payable to him at that time".

(3) Any reference in this Act to a widow of a Judge or former Judge shall, by force of this subsection, be construed as including and extending to a widower of a Judge or former Judge. .

by substituting for the passage "as is paid," in line one of paragraph (a), the passage "and the same travelling and other allowances as are, respectively, paid"; and
