PENSIONS).

AN ACT to amend the Judges' Salaries and Pensions Act, 1950-1974 and the District Court of Western Australia Act, 1969-1974.

[Assented to 18th September, 1975.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Acts Amendment Short title.

(Judicial Salaries and Pensions) Act, 1975.

PART I.-JUDGES' SALARIES AND PENSIONS ACT,

1950-1974.

Citation.	3. (1) In this Part of this Act, the Judges' Salaries and Pensions Act, 1950-1974 is referred to as the principal Act.

Section 5

amended. 4. Subsection (1) of section 5 of the principal Act

is amended

(a)	by substituting for the words "thirty-two thousand four hundred dollars" in line two of paragraph (a) the words "forty thousand five hundred dollars";
(b)	by substituting for the words "twenty-nine thousand seven hundred dollars" in lines five and six of paragraph (b) the words "thirty-seven thousand one hundred and twenty-five dollars"; and
(c)	by substituting for the words "twenty- eight thousand eight hundred dollars" in lines one and two of paragraph (c) the words "thirty-six thousand dollars".

Section 12

6. Subsection (1) of section 12 of the principal Act is amended amended.

(a)	by substituting for the words "twenty-five thousand and fifty-six dollars" in lines one and two of paragraph (a) the words "thirty-one thousand three hundred and twenty dollars"; and
(b)	by substituting for the words "twenty- three thousand three hundred and twenty dollars" in lines two and three of paragraph (b) the words "twenty-nine thousand one hundred and fifty dollars".
