PENSIONS).

AN ACT to amend the Judges' Salaries and Pensions

Act, 1950-1972 and the District Court of

Western Australia Act, 1969-1972.

[Assented to 4th December, 1972.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Acts Amendment Short title.

(Judicial Salaries and Pensions) Act, 1972.

2.    This Act shall come into operation on the first gogmence-

day of January, 1973.

is amended

(a)	by substituting for the words "twenty-one thousand six hundred dollars" in paragraph (a), the words "twenty-seven thousand dollars";
(b)	by substituting for the words "nineteen thousand eight hundred dollars" in para- graph (b), the words "twenty-four thou- sand seven hundred and fifty dollars"; and
(c)	by substituting for the words "nineteen thousand two hundred dollars" in para- graph (c), the words "twenty-four thou- sand dollars".

PART II.—DISTRICT COURT OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA

ACT, 1969-1972.

Citation.	5. (1) In this Part of this Act, the District Court of Western Australia Act, 1969-1972 is referred to as the principal Act.
(2) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the District Court of Western Australia Act, 1969-1972.

Section 12

6. Subsection (1) of section 12 of the principal amended.

Act is amended

(a)	by substituting for the words "seventeen thousand four hundred dollars" in para- graph (a), the words "twenty thousand eight hundred and eighty dollars"; and
(b)	by substituting for the words "sixteen thousand two hundred dollars" in para- graph (b), the words "nineteen thousand four hundred and forty dollars".
