NUMBER OF MINISTERS OF

THE CROWN).

No. 2 of 1950.

AN ACT to amend certain Acts to provide for an increase from eight to ten in the number of principal executive offices of the Government liable to be vacated on political grounds.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:-

This Act may be cited as the Acts Amend-

ment (Increase in number of Ministers of the

Crown) Act, 1950.

Short title.

1.

CONSTITUTION.

(1) This section shall be read as one with the Constitution Acts Amendment Act, 1899-1949 (Act No. 19 of 1899, as amended by Acts numbered 21 of 1904, 6 and 31 of 1911, 34 of 1921, 25 of 1927, 1 and 26 of 1929, 25 of 1933, 40 of 1934, 29 of 1942, 52 of 1945, 2, 4 and 52 of 1947, 12 of 1948 and 17 of 1949) referred to in this section as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act is amended by substituting for the word "eight" in line one of the proviso to section thirty-seven the word "ten".
