Under section 2 of the Acts Amendment (Events on Roads) Act 1988, I, the Governor, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby fix the day of the publication of this proclamation in the Government Gazette as the day on which the Acts Amendment (Events on Roads) Act 1988 shall come into operation.
