Under section 2 of the Acts Amendment (Detention of Drunken Persons) Act 1989, I, the Governor, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby fix 27 April 1990 as the day on which the Acts Amendment (Detention of Drunken Persons) Act .1989 shall come into operation.
