I, the deputy of the Governor, acting under section 2 of the Acts Amendment and Repeal (Financial Sector Reform) Act 1999 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix 1 July 1999 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act come into operation —

Part 2 Divisions 1 to 5
Part 2 Division 6 Subdivision 4
Part 2 Division 7 Subdivision 5
Part 2 Division 9
Section 56 and 57

Part 3, other than section 68.
