Accident Towing Services Amendment Regulations 2019

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Accident Towing Services Regulations 2019 as a consequence of the enactment of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2019—

(a)to replace references to VicRoads with references to the Secretary; and

(b)to replace a reference to the Roads Corporation with a reference to the Secretary.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 223 of the Accident Towing Services Act 2007.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2020.

4Consequential amendments

A provision of the Accident Towing Services Regulations 2019[1] specified in Schedule 1 to these Regulations is amended as set out in that Schedule.
