Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to repeal the dealing restrictions made on 1 July 2019 prohibiting the assignment of water allocations relating to the Upper and Lower Namoi Regulated River Water Sources, NSW Border Rivers Regulated River Water Source, Macquarie Regulated River Water Source and Lachlan Regulated River Water Source in order to support temporary water restrictions made on 1 July 2019 for those water sources.

This Order is made under section 71Z of the Water Management Act 2000. Section 43 (2) of the Interpretation Act 1987 provides that the power to make an order under an Act includes the power to repeal the order.

1             Name of Order

This Order is the Access Licence Dealing Principles (Upper and Lower Namoi Regulated River Water
Sources, NSW Border Rivers, Macquarie Regulated River and Lachlan Regulated River Water
Source) Repeal Order 2019.

2             Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3           Repeals

The following orders are repealed:

(a) Access Licence Dealing Principles (Upper and Lower Namoi Regulated River Water Sources) Order 2019,

(b) Access Licence Dealing Principles (NSW Border Rivers) Order 2019,
(c) Access Licence Dealing Principles (Macquarie Regulated River) Order 2019,

(d) Access Licence Dealing Principles (Lachlan Regulated River Water Source) Order 2019.
