1Citation [see Note 1]

 These Regulations may be cited as the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Regulations.

2Interpretation

 In these Regulations the Act means the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976.

3Prescribed qualifications – subsection 37A (2)

 For the purposes of subsection 37A (2) of the Act, the prescribed qualifications are:

• (a)

  registration as a company auditor under the law of a State or Territory; or

• (b)

  entitlement to registration as a company auditor under the law of a State or Territory.

4Prescribed qualifications – subsection 38 (1)

 For the purposes of subsection 38 (1), the prescribed qualifications are admission, or eligibility for admission, to:

• (a)

  provisional or associate membership of the Australian Society of Accountants; or

• (b)

  associateship or fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.
