Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory)(Land Description)(16 Mile (Bond Springs) Locality) Regulations

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976.

Citation

 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) (Land Description) (16 Mile (Bond Springs) Locality) Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s.48]

Interpretation

 2.(1) In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

“Act” means the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976.

Amendment of Part 3 of Schedule 1 to the Act

 3. Schedule 1 to the Act is amended by omitting the description and diagram set out in Part 3 relating to the 16 MILE (BOND SPRINGS) LOCALITY and substituting:

 “All that parcel of land in the Northern Territory containing a total area of 3754 hectares more or less, being all of Northern Territory Portion No 3806 and being more particularly delineated on Survey Plan S89/91 lodged with the Surveyor-General, Darwin.”.
