(Regions) Order 2019

I, The Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 93(2) of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 5 to the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (which specifies the Regions for Local Aboriginal Land Councils) to update a reference to the Nambucca Heads Local Aboriginal Land Council area.

This Order is made under section 93(2) of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Aboriginal Land Rights Amendment (Regions) Order 2019.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 5 Regions

Insert “Heads” after “Nambucca” in the matter relating to Mid North Coast Region.
