Made under the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021 section 2(e) by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

This proclamation is the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021
Commencement Proclamation 2023.

2.             Commencement

The following provisions of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage

Act 2021 come into operation on 6 April 2023 —

(a) Part 2 Division 3, other than —

(i)      sections 48 and 49; and

(ii)      Subdivision 4;

(b) Part 4, other than —

(i)      sections 70 and 71; and

(ii)      Divisions 2 to 4; and

(iii)      sections 82 to 85, 86(1) and (5) and 87; and

(iv)      Division 6;

(c) Part 5, other than —

(i)      sections 89 and 91; and

(ii)      Divisions 2 to 4;

(d)	section 101;
(e)	Part 6 Division 3, other than section 108;
(f)	Part 6 Division 6, other than —

(i)      sections 134 to 138 and 140 to 145; and

(ii)      Subdivisions 2 to 5;

(g)	sections 283 and 286;
(h)	Part 13 Division 3 Subdivision 2;

(i)      section 307;

(j) Part 14 Division 2 —

(i)      Subdivision 2, other than sections 316 and 317; and

(ii)      Subdivision 4, other than section 330; and

(iii)      Subdivision 5, other than sections 331 to 335 and 337.
