Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Act 1984.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

 These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2. New

regulation 5C

2.1   After regulation 5B, insert:

Local Aboriginal Community — Yorta Yorta Murray Goulburn Rivers Clans Incorporated

 “5C.For the purposes of subsection 21A (2) of the Act, the Schedule of the Act is amended by adding at the end “Yorta Yorta Murray Goulburn Rivers Clans Incorporated”.
