I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under item 3 of the table in subsection 2 (1) of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Amendment Act 2006, fix 28 May 2007 as the day on which Schedule 2 to that Act commences.
