Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander

Heritage (Interim Protection) Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage (Interim Protection) Act 1984.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage (Interim Protection) Regulations are amended by inserting after regulation 3 the following regulation:

Prescribed authority

“4. For the purposes of paragraph 21 (1) (c) of the Act, the Museum of Australia is an authority for safekeeping.”.
