Assembly to sanction the ca r ry ing out of t h e said w o r k : Be it therefore enacted by the K ing ' s Most Exce l len t Majesty, by and with t he advice and consent of the Legis la t ive Counci l and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, and by the au tho r i t y of the same, as follows :—
1 . This Ac t may be cited as the " A b a t t o i r (Sale-yards)

2 . The ca r ry ing out of the said work, more par t icu lar ly described in t he Schedule to this Act , is hereby sanct ioned, and the Secretary for Pub l i c W o r k s , or t he member of the Execu t ive Council for t h e t ime being per forming the dut ies of the said Secre tary , is hereby author ised to u n d e r t a k e and carry out t h e said work, subject to t he provisions of this Act , and for t h a t purpose shall be and shall have the powers and dut ies of a Cons t ruc t ing Au tho r i t y within t h e mean ing of the Pub l ic W o r k s Act, 1900.

3 . The cost of car ry ing out the said works, es t imated a t one hund rcd and ninety-four thousand six hundred and seventy pounds , shall be defrayed from such loan votes as are now or m a y hereaf ter be appl icable to t h a t purpose, or from appropr ia t ions of t he Publ ic W o r k s F u n d , or par t ly from such votes and pa r t ly from such appropr ia t ions , and shall not, unde r any c i rcumstances , exceed the es t imated cost by
SCHEDULE.
THE scheme comprises : —
1. Construction of a loop-line of railway.
2. Erection of office blocks. > •'5. Construction of thirty-seven railway pens for sheep and cattle.
4. Construction of twenty-eight collecting pens for rattle and calves,
o. Construction of ninety-eight selling pens for cattle.
0. Construction of fifty selling pens for calves.
7. Construction of thirty collecting pens for sheep.8. Construction of twelve collecting pens for lambs.
!). Construction of fifty drafting yards for sheep.
10. Construction of twenty drafting yards for lambs.
11. Construction of four hundred and eighty selling pens for sheep.
12. Construction of one hundred and ninetv-two selling pens for lambs.
13. Construction of twelve large collecting pens for sheep.
14. Construction of stock roadways.15. Construction of dipping tank.
.Subject to such deviations and modifications as may be considered
necessary by the Constructing Authority.
