4 yearly review of modern awards – common issue – annual leave – data background papers
[1] The Fair Work Commission (Commission) has released two background papers to assist parties in the finalisation of the annual leave common issue proceedings. See Statement and Directions issued 8 July 2016 ([2016] FWCFB 4525)
[2] The two reports are:
(i) Background Paper—data on paid annual leave for Maritime awards
(ii) Background Paper—data on paid annual leave for other selected industries
[3] The reports have been prepared by staff of the Commission and do not represent the views of the Full Bench.
[4] The Full Bench proposes to take this material into account in its consideration of the various matters before it. Parties are invited to comment on the background papers when making their submissions to the proceedings.
