IRRIGATION ACT 1912—REGULATION

(Repealing the Irrigation (Hay and Wentworth Land Sales) Regulation 1992)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Irrigation Act 1912, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 July, 1996.

Repeal

2. The Irrigation (Hay and Wentworth Land Sales) Regulation 1992 is

repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to repeal the Irrigation (Hay and Wentworth Land

Sales) Regulation 1992 as a consequence of the enactment of the Irrigation Corporations

Act 1994.

This Regulation is made under the Irrigation Act 1912, including section 28 (the

general regulation making power).
