IRRIGATION CORPORATIONS ACT 1994 NO. 41—
PROCLAMATION
NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Irrigation Corporations Act 1994, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 3 March 1995 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:
(a) section 19 (2), (3) and (4);
(b) items (8) (a) and (10) (a) of the provisions relating to the Irrigation Act 1912 in Schedule 3;
(c) item (b) of the provisions relating to the Irrigation, Water and Rivers and Foreshores Improvement (Amendment) Act 1955 in
Schedule 3;(d)
the provisions relating to the Wentworth Irrigation Act 1890 in Schedule 3.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Proclamation is to commence provisions of the Irrigation
Corporations Act 1994 that:
| (a) | remove the names of Jemalong Wyldes Plains Irrigation Limited, Lower Murray Irrigation Areas Limited and Murray Irrigation Limited from Schedule 1 to the State Owned Corporations Act 1989 on the establishment of those corporations as class 2 irrigation corporations under the Irrigation Corporations Act 1994; and |
| (b) | amend certain other Acts as a consequence of the dissolution of the Curlwaa |
