GOVERNMENT PRICING TRIBUNAL ACT 1992—ORDER

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, ROBERT JOHN CARR, Premier, in pursuance of section 4 of the Government Pricing Tribunal Act 1992, make the Order set out hereunder.

I certify that the services specified in the Order set out hereunder are

services:

(a)

for which there are no other suppliers to provide competition in the part of the market concerned; and

(b)

for which there is no contestable market by potential suppliers in the short term in the part of the market.

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Government Pricing Tribunal (Water

Services) Order 1995.

Declaration of government monopoly services

2. Any service provided by the Water Administration Ministerial

Corporation, to the extent that the service involves:

(a) the making available of water; or

(b)

the making available of the Corporation’s water supply facilities; or

(c)

the supplying of water, whether by means of the Corporation’s water supply facilities or otherwise,

is declared to be a government monopoly service.
