By deputation from His Excellency the Governor.

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions)

Act (No. 3) 1988, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September

1995 as the day on which Schedule 8 to that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Statute Law

(Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 3) 1988 that amend the definitions of “premises” and “zoological park” in section 5 (1) of the Exhibited Animals Protection Act 1986.
