I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 3) 1988, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 10 October 1995 as the day on which Schedules 23 and 24 to that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Proclamation commences Schedules 23 and 24 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 3) 1988. Schedule 23 contains a provision that amends section 70 of the Strata Titles Act 1973 so that a covenant chargee will be entitled to obtain from a strata title body corporate a certificate containing information about a strata lot or to require the body corporate to make available for inspection certain documents relating to the property (including the strata roll). Schedule 24 contains amendments to the Strata Titles (Leasehold) Act 1986 that have a similar effect. Schedule 23 also contains minor amendments to sections 39, 44 and 126 of that Act so as to update certain references to “restriction on user”.
