GOVERNMENT PRICING TRIBUNAL ACT 1992—ORDER

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, ROBERT JOHN CARR, Premier, in pursuance of section 4 of the Government Pricing Tribunal Act 1992, make the Order set out hereunder.

I certify that each of the services specified in the Order set out

hereunder is a service:

(a)

for which there are no other suppliers to provide competition in the part of the market concerned; and

(b)

for which there is no contestable market by potential suppliers in the short term in that part of the market.

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Government Pricing Tribunal (Water

Supply Services) Order 1995.

Declaration of government monopoly services

2. The following services are declared to be government monopoly

services:

(a) water supply services provided by Central Tablelands County Council, Lower Clarence County Council and Rouse County Council;
(b) water supply services provided by Northern Riverina Electricity, NorthPower and Southern Riverina Electricity (being electricity distributors within the meaning of the Electricity Act 1945).
