LIQUOR ACT 1982—REGULATION

(Relating to the auctioning of liquor pursuant to an off-licence)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Liquor Act 1982, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 November 1994.

Amendment

2. The Liquor Regulation 1983 is amended by omitting clause 9.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to omit a provision of the Liquor Regulation 1983 (relating to the auctioning of liquor pursuant to an off-licence) which is superfluous following the commencement of amendments to the Liquor Act 1982 contained in the Liquor (Further Amendment) Act 1994.

This Regulation is made under section 156 of the Liquor Act 1982 (the general

regulation making power).
