PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Guardianship (Amendment) Act 1993 No. 26, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 1994 as the day on which that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation affects the commencement of the amendment to the Guardianship Act 1987 set out in Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1993. That amendment will commence on the commencement of Schedule 2 (5) to the Guardianship (Amendment) Act 1993, which will occur on 1 February 1994 because of the Proclamation.
