I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Legal Profession Reform Act 1993, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1994 as the day on which that Act commences (other than those provisions of that Act that have already commenced).

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Legal Profession Reform
Act 1993 on 1 July 1994. The following provisions have already commenced:
(a)
Schedule 4 (12) (a) (which amended Schedule 8 of the Legal Profession Act 1987 to enable savings and transitional regulations to be made consequent on the enactment of the Reform Act and commenced on 15 April 1994);
