I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State
of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in
pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions)
Act 1993, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 6 August 1993 as the day
on which the amendments to the Public Authorities (Financial

Arrangements) Act 1987 set out in that Schedule commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments to the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987 contained in the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1993. The amendments remove the requirement for certain authorities to establish a reserve account to accumulate funds to meet the repayment of debts.
