STRATA TITLES (LEASEHOLD) ACT 1986—REGULATION

(Relating to fees for terminating leasehold strata schemes)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Strata Titles (Leasehold) Act 1986, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 2 August 1993.

Amendment

2. The Strata Titles (Leasehold) Regulation 1989 is amended by

inserting in clause 43 after item 8 the following item:

8A. On lodgment of an application for an order

terminating a leasehold strata scheme ...................	50.00
And, in addition, for each hour or part of an hour
occupied in investigating the application ...............	80.00

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Strata Titles (Leasehold) Regulation 1989 to allow the Registrar-General to charge fees on lodgment and investigation of an application made under section 80A of the Act for an order to terminate a leasehold strata scheme.

This Regulation is made under the Strata Titles (Leasehold) Act 1986, including section 196 (the general regulation-making power).
