STRATA TITLES ACT 1973—REGULATION

(Relating to fees for terminating strata schemes)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Strata Titles Act 1973, has been pleased to make.

the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 2 August 1993.

Amendment

2. The Strata Titles Regulations 1974 are amended by inserting in

Regulation 52 after item 8 the following item:

8A. On lodgment of an application for an order

terminating a strata scheme.. .......................... 50.00

And, in addition, for each hour or part of an hour

occupied in investigating the application ......... 80.00

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Strata Titles Regulations 1974 to allow the Registrar-General to charge fees on the lodgment and investigation of an application made under section 51A of the Act for an order to terminate a strata scheme.

This Regulation is made under the Strata Titles Act 1973, including section 158

(the general regulation-making power).
