INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ACT 1991—REGULATION

(Relating to oaths of office of members of Industrial Relations Commission)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Industrial Relations Act 1991, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Industrial Relations Regulation 1992 is amended by inserting after

clause 21 the following clause:

Oaths of office of members of Commission

21A. A member of the Commission appointed after the

commencement of the Act is to take the oath of allegiance and the

official oath on appointment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to require new members of the Industrial Relations Commission to take the oath of allegiance and the official oath under the

Oaths Act 1900.
