AMENDMENT ACT 1992 NO. 9—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Amendment Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation:

(a)	appoint 31 March 1992 as the day on which the provisions of that Act (other than those to which paragraph (b) applies) commence;
(b)	appoint 1 May 1992 as the day on which the following provisions of Schedule 1 of that Act (and section 3 of that Act in its application to those provisions) commence:

• item (1) (a) in its application to the Macarthur

Development Corporation and the Macarthur Growth Area

• item (9)
• item (11)
• item (13)
• item (15)
• item (16)

• item (21) (b)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the main part of the Growth

Centres (Development Corporations) Amendment Act 1992 on 31 March 1992.

Provisions of that Act which relate to the dissolution of the Macarthur and

Bathurst-Orange Development Corporations are to commence on 1 May 1992.
