(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Legal Profession Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Legal Profession Regulation 1987 is amended by inserting after

clause 29 the following clause:

Fees payable to Admission Boards

29A. The fee payable to an Admission Board:

(a) in respect of admission as a student-at-law, is $20; and
(b) in respect of admission as a barrister, is $50; and
(c) in respect of admission as a solicitor, is $50.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Legal Profession Regulation 1987

to provide for the fees payable to the Barristers Admission Board and the Solicitors

Admission Board for admission as a student-at-law, barrister or solicitor.
