I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 3) 1989, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 11 May, 1990 as the day on which the amendments set out in that Schedule to the following Acts commence:

Hunter Valley Flood Mitigation Act 1956
Private Irrigation Districts Act 1973
Rivers and Foreshores Improvement Act 1948

Water Act 1912 (items (1) and (5)-(16))
