SUPERANNUATION ACT 1916 - ORDER

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 92 of the Superannuation Act 1916, do, by this my Order:

(a)

amend Part 1 of Schedule 3 to the Superannuation Act 1916

(i)	by omitting the words "The Commissioner for Main Roads";
(ii)	by omitting the words "The Commissioner for Motor Transport";
(iii)	by inserting after the words "Homebush Abattoir Corporation" the following words:

Home Care Service of New South WaIes
Independent Commission Against Corruption

(iv)         by omitting the words "Metropolitan Waste Disposal Authority";

(v)          by inserting before the words "State RaiI Authority of New South Wales" the words "Roads and Traffic Authority of New South Wales";

(vi)         by inserting after the words "State Rail Authority of New South Wales" the words "State Transit Authority of New South Wales";

(vii)        by omitting the words "Traffic Authority of New South Wales";

(viii)       by omitting the words "Urban Transit Authority of New South Wales";

(ix)         by omitting the words "State Compensation Board";

(x)          by inserting after the words "United Dental Hospital" the words "Waste Management Authority of New South Wales";

(xi)         by inserting after the words "Wentworth Park Trust" the words "Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Authority of New South Wales";

(ii)         by inserting at the end of that Part the words

"Zoological Parks Board of New South Wales";

(b) amend Part 1 of Schedule 3 to that Act by omitting the words

"Grain Handling Authority of New South Wales" and by

inserting instead the words "New South Wales Grain Corporation Limited";
(c)	amend Part 1 of Schedule 3 to that Act by omitting the words

"Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Authority of New

South Wales" and by inserting instead the words "WorkCover Authority of New South Wales";
(d)	amend Part 2 of Schedule 3 to that Act by inserting after the heading to that Part the following words:

A council within the meaning of the Local Government Act

1919

A county council constituted under section 562 of the Local

Government Act 1919

An urban committee established under section 548 of the
Local Government Act 1919

A joint committee established by an agreement entered into

under section 521 of the Local Government Act 1919

A pastures protection board established under section 6 of

the Pastures Protection Act 1934

This Order is to be taken to have commenced on:

(a)	in respect of paragraphs (a) and (d) - 1 July 1989; and
(b)	in respect of paragraph (b) - 1 October 1989; and
(c)	in respect of paragraph (c) - 1 January 1990.
