REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1915.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1915 to come into operation forthwith.

War Financial Regulation.
Australian Imperial Force.
Regulation 1 of the War Financial Regulations (Australian Imperial Force) dated 28th February, 1917 (Statutory Rules 1917, No. 49), is amended as follows:—
(1) For—
“Mechanical Transport, Workshop Fitters, Turners, Blacksmiths, Wheelers, Electricians 8s.”
Read—
“Mechanical Transport, Workshop Fitters, Turners, Blacksmiths, Wheelers, Electricians, and Drivers who rank as 2nd Corporals. 8s.”
(2) For—
“Cleaners and Waggonmen (Mechanical Transport), Drivers of all Motor Vehicles (except Motor-cycles) 6s.”
Read—
“Cleaners and Waggonmen (Mechanical Transport), Drivers of all Motor Vehicles (except Motor-cycles and where otherwise shown) 6s.”
