Voluntary deregistration of life company

Life Insurance Act 1995

TO: St. George Life Limited ABN 88 076 763 936 (the Company)

 

SINCE

 

  1. the Company has given APRA a written request dated 2 August 2019 that its registration under section 21 of the Life Insurance Act 1995 (the Act) be cancelled; and

 

B.     I am satisfied that:

 

(a)  no policies issued by the Company remain in force; and

 

(b) the Company is not subject to any outstanding policy liabilities,

 

I, Brandon Kong Leong Khoo, a delegate of APRA, under subsection 27(1) of the Act, REVOKE the registration of the Company.

 

Under subsection 27(2) of the Act, revocation takes effect when APRA gives the Company this notice.
