Variation of List of Names and Categories of Registered Entities
Financial Sector (Collection of Data) Act 2001
SINCE:
A. APRA keeps a Register of Entities (the register) under section 8 of the Financial Sector (Collection of Data) Act 2001 (the Act);
B. APRA keeps a list of the names of registered entities under section 11 of the Act (the list);
C. Investec Bank plc has become a registrable corporation, as defined in section 7 of the Act;
D. APRA has, under paragraph 10(a) of the Act, caused the name of the corporation and other particulars relating to the corporation to be added to the register; and
E. the corporation has therefore become a registered entity within the meaning of subsection 5(3) of the Act;
I, Barton Ashcroft, a delegate of APRA, under subsection 11(2) of the Act, vary the list by adding the names of the corporations.
