EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
1. Authority for making the instrument. University Committees Statute 2010, section 5.
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The Rules provide for the establishment, constitution, functions and powers of the University Quality and Standards Committees, and for joint meetings of the Committees.
3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference. None.
4. Consultation process. The Council of the University considered and approved the Rules on 26 March 2010.
