EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
1. Authority for making the instrument. University House Statute, section 10.
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The Rules prescribe arrangements relating to the governance and membership of the House, the setting of fees and charges and access to the House by non-members.
3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference. None.
4. Consultation process. The new Rules were considered and approved by the Council of the University on 25 May 2012.
