Threat abatement plan for competition and land degradation by rabbits
The Minister for the Environment and Energy has made the Threat abatement plan for competition and land degradation by rabbits (2016). The plan came into force on 7 January 2017.
The plan addresses the key threatening process ‘Competition and land degradation by rabbits’ listed under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. It describes the research, management and other actions to reduce the impacts of rabbits on native species.
