REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1916.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following amended Regulation under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901-1916, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Telephone Regulations 1913.
(Statutory Rules 1913, No. 349, as amended to this date.)
Regulation 17 is amended by omitting sub-regulation (1) and inserting the following sub-regulation in its stead:—
17. (1) All telephone instruments, batteries or apparatus whatever which can be connected with any Telephone Exchange shall, except where otherwise provided in these Regulations, be supplied at the cost of the Department and be the exclusive property of the Postmaster-General.
(1a) The Postmaster-General may from time to time during the continuance of the Agreement remove from the premises of the subscriber any instrument, batteries or apparatus so supplied and supply other instruments, batteries or apparatus in lieu thereof, and upon the termination of the Agreement the Postmaster-General may remove from any such premises all instruments, batteries and apparatus supplied in accordance with sub-regulation (1) of this regulation.
(1b) The Postmaster-General by his officers shall at all times have free access to the premises of any subscriber for the purposes of inspection, removal and replacement, or removal only, of the instruments, batteries or apparatus thereon.
